At a meeting of the North Island Bowling Association, the question of carrying out future inter-club matches was . discussed, and it was decided to recommend that clubs entering for rink matches at the inter-club tournament be divided into sections, each section to play off; and the winners of the respective sections to playoff; play, if possible, not to exceed four days. The next champion fours will probably be held at Feilding or Palmerston North.
In the champion tourney on tbe Hawera green Tait beat Nicholas by 22 to 15". Foy beat Scolan by 21 to 15. Haughey beat Nicholas by 24 to 12.
