A statement of the trading aocount of the factory for the period from 4th January to 11th December, 1900, shows that, with a total of 8479 pigs dealt with, a gross profit of £2184 0a 6d, and a net profit of £945 17s 6d resulted, being equal to 36 per oent. grosp, and 15£ per cent. net. This statement is certified to by Mr T. O. Kelsey, F.N.Z A.A. Mr Thomas Runciman, of Eltham, has, on behalf of the Provisional Directors, inspected and valued the factory and plant, and his valuation, without including value of the land or goodwill of the business, is £4242 7s. The Company will establish stations at Warea, Opunake, Kaponga, and Eltham within six months after receiving a sufficient guarantee that 1500 pigs will be supplied for one year ab each of those places. No amount has been paid or is intended to be paid by the Company to any promoter.
