London, January 14.
Colonel Wing intercepted Piot Viljoen's letter announcing that General J. Opperman, tbe chief leader of the South Eastern commandos, had been killed in an engagement with Colonel Plumer. Colonel Wing found a grave with Opperman'a initials on a cross.
