William B. Payton, a middle-aged man, pleaded guilty to making a false entry when registering the biclb anil death of an illegitimate child born at his bouse. He represented himself and his wife as father and mother, on th 9 ground that be intended to adopt the infant. He was remanded for sentence.
John Short, charged with firing a revolver at Park Terrace, was fined *£3, or a month.
