FEDERAL PARLIAMENT ON THE SUBJECT.
1 Sydney, January 14. A correspondent of the Daily Telegraph' advocates the formation of an anti German League, the members pledging themselves not to buy Germanmade goods, as a set-off to the hostility of the German people towards Great Britain.
Melbourne, January 14.
The Federal Parliament reassembles to-day. There is a likelihood of it rfeing invited to express sympathy with Great Britain in regard to the attacks made by European politicians. Feeling here is growing very strong, particularly in view of the fact that they follow" so closely on the gratuitous imputations of the German newspapers against the bravery and loyalty of Australian soldiers.
The Right Hon. G. H. Reid has expressed his willingness to support the -Government if it submits a resolution on the subject.
