». -, The funeral of the late Mrs Charles Curtis took place on Wednesday afternoon, at Otakeho, there being a very long procession of vehicles, equestrians, and pedestrians, headed by members of the Hawera Lodge of Oddfellows (of whom Mr Curtis was a member). Wreaths were sent from all round the district, a list of which (aa far as coald be gathered) is as follows: Misses Whiting (a beautiful cross of artificial roses), Mrs Buckingham, Miss K. Dußtow, Misses Borrie, Mrs W. J. Hill, Mrs Walter Blair, Mr and Mrs Ecclesfield, Mr and Mrs F. Squire, Mrs Tustow, Mr and Mrs J. 'Robertson, Mrs Watts, Mrs and Misses Cunnabell. Mrs Wells. Mrs Eraser, Mr and "Mrs T. W. Owen, Mr and Mrs J. Deacon. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr A. Williscrofl, of , Manftia.
