TO-MOREOW NIGHT — WHY SMITH LEFT HOME.
To-morrow night Mr Arnold will play another pieoe by the same author as " What Happened to Jones." This is entitled " Why Smith Left Home," and many people who saw it in Wellington recently say that it is funnier than " What Happened to Jones." At any rate, ii deals with questions that will cause no end of fun. John Smith marries And " settlsa down," and iust when he fnneieß he is in for a nice quiet honeymoon, nte own relatives and bin wife's relatives pay long visits, and he is at his wits end to get rid of them. Then be haa trouble with his servants, and they go oat on strike. His Irish! " oook-lady " makes things very lively, until in the end Smith leaves home. A Mr Arnold will appear as an ecoentrio Q t >rman Count, and a variety of characters will be introduced— French, Irish, and jHalian.
