The broken weather we have lately been having has been the means of hindering outdoor work. Thus on the farm where ploughing is going on the work has been kept back. With our warm soil and the quick growth of weeds in spring, as little time as possible is lost between the time the ground is turned over until the seed is sown, and ploughing is delayed as far on in the season as possible.
