Niw Plymouth, January 12. Oattle— At Waiwakalho, on Tuesday, the yards were well filled with mostly store stock. Bidding for all young cattle was brisk, good strong ealvee and young steers selling especially well. One or two nice lines of Awakino bullocks, in exedlent condition, oame forward. Bidding was not np to expectations, but they were sold privately before the dose of the sale. The demand for 18 month heifers and dairy stock was easier, and prioes were a bit lower for these classes. Weaners made 8s 6d to 14s ; good calves, 19s to 265 ; ealvss and yearlings, 29e to 89. 6d; 12 to 18 month heifers, 40s to 48s 6d; 12 to 18 month steers, 46s to 62s 6d; 18 months to 2 ysar do., L 2 16s; 3_ to 8 year do., L 8 10s to L 4 fie; springing heifers, L 8 to LB 6s; store cows, L 2 7s Mto L 2 lfii ; fat do., LB6s to LB los. At Bahotu, on Thursday, oattle came forward in excess of number advertised. There was a good attendance, and brisk bidding throughout. Oalvee made 18s to 245 ; calves to yearlings, 28s to 29s 6d ; 12 to 18 month steers, £2 6s to £2 12s 6d ; 4 year fresh bullocks, £4 17s fid; 18 month heifers, £2 6s to £2 12s; 2 year Jersey do, £8 9s; springing heifers, 458 to £8 6s ; store cows, £2 6s to £2 12s 6d J fat do, £8 6s.
