The Steele-Payne Bellringers.
This talented musical family, popularly known as the Fayue Family, will give one of their entertainments at the Opera House on Thursday next, when there is certain to be a large audience to greet them, and give them the hearty welcome we always extend to old and well tried stage favourites. Sinoe their last visit to Hawera in January, 1894 they travelled through Great Britain and South Africa, where they soon established themselves in the favour they have long enjoyed throughout Australasia. This company is not to be confounded with the company that performed here some months ago under the management of Mr W. J. Payne who severed his con* neotion with the Steele, Payne Company some eighteen months ago, and started a separate oompany. The present combination is now managed and controlled by Mr Ralph Steele and Mrs Steele (nee Lizzie Payne).
