Manaia Rifle Club.
On Friday afternoon last, the club held their weekly practice, when the following scores were made : —
A committee meeting was held on Tuesday night. Present — Messrs Pring (chair), Armitage, Lusher, Lewis and Bennett.
NBW MHMBEB. . Besolved that Mr W. Steuart be elected a member.
TARGETS.
Resolved that Mr H. Stevenson be employed to repair target, and that half a dozen discs be procured.
DONATIONS.
Resolved that Mr Corrigan's donation of £3 3s be devoted to purchasing a trophy, terms and conditions re firing for same to be arranged after Xmas.
Besolved that Mr Milne's Bpeoial prize be shot for immediately after the trophy competition is ended.
PRIZES AND MATCH DAYS.
Resolved that shooting be held on 9th, 16th, and 26th insts, and that prizes of 10s, 10s, and £2 10s respectively be offered, the matter of alloting same to be left to handicappers.
REFBHSHMBNTS.
Mr W. Lewis' offer to provide refreshments on Boxing Day was accepted with thanks.
