Sports and. Fete.
The programme of event 3to be decided on the Beoreation Ground tomorrow (Friday) should attract a large attendance. There is a judicious mixture of all kinds, including athletic/ cycling and fire brigade contests. In addition to these there will be a slow race, cigar and umbrella race, tie race, and alarm and rush. Sir prizes will also be offered for decorated bicycles. A procession of decorated bicycles will leave the Fire Brigade station at 12.80. A band will be in attendance on the ground during the afternoon.
