(per press association.) Wellington, September 5. George Ooleman pleaded guilty to forcing and uttering a number of oheques, some for considerable sums. Probation was asked for, but the judge said it was no case for probation. The only question was whether he should not give a long sentence. The sentence was two. years' hard labor. Dunbdin, September 5. Samuel Nelson, an old resident, died suddenly yesterday while attending servioe at Green Island Presbyterian Church. mmmmmmmmmmm —mmmm
