A hack is a horse that has never won an advertised raoe, is not nominated for any race at time of start, nor for six months previously thereto (hack and. hunter races excepted). 2. The winner of any raoe after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs, two or more suoh races 141bs. 3. No nominations or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. 4. Performances of horses must be sen 1 in with nominations. 5. Colors of riders to be sent in w,ith acceptances on General Entry tfight. 6. No entries will be ieoeived for any raoe except on condition that all claims, disputes, and objections ainsing out of the raoing, shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present, and their decision shall be final. 7. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date of appearance of weights and time of events should they see fit to do so. 8.- All races to be run under the rules of raoing as adopted by the Metropolitan Cluha of New Zealand.
