TTAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL SPEOIAL ORDER FOR MAKING AND LEVYING SPEOIAL RATE. Whereas at a special meeting of the Council, held on Friday, 18th September, 1896, the following., resolution was adopted, viz :—: — That a special annual recurring rate of ld in the £ be made over the following properties, viz : — the western halves of Section 1, Blook 14, Ngaire, and 40, Block 10, Ngaire; Section 41, Block 10, Ngaire ; and Sections 8 and 9, Block 18, Ngaire, for the payment of interest and charges on loan of £140 (under the provisions of " The Goyernmen Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and the amendments thereof) for metalling the Neill Road from the Mountain Road to a point five ohains west of the Railway Line. The said loan was duly carried at a poll of ratepayers taken on 19th day of August, 1896, and the said special rate shall be payable, if required, half-yearly on the 15th day of April and the 15th day of Ootober in each year foe a period of 26 years. Notice is hereby given that the said resolution will be confirmed at a meeting of the Council, to be held on the 28rd day of October, 1896, and, thereupon, the said special order shall take effect.
