Jameson's Trial.
EXONERATION OP CHARTERED COMPANY. (per press association.) LONDON, May 8. Harksley, solicitor, has published a statement, at the request of Jameson, exonerating the Chartered Co. from complicity in the raid. The directors of the company cabled to Ceoil Rhodes stating that Kruger's revelations had caused universal excitement, in consequence of which they hesitated to accept his resignation. Sir C. Rhodes has replied, asking them to defer final decision in the matter, and the directors agreed to do so.
