LONDON, May 25. Mr Hotwn, af Uivvifliting Park -and Marseilles, thinks it would be useless to attempt to open Continental markets, and advocates instead extending the trade in the provinces by direct shipments to Manchester and Glasgow, as London is congested. Despite the idea to the contrary prevailing in the colonies, the system in London is absolutely perfect. [Sir Hotson is a Victorian merchant.]
