Iding was Black throughout, but in spite this we were able to dispose of the horses, ragh prices were decidedly in favor of cchasers. We quote— Harness horses, to £7 15s; hacks, up to £10 2s 6d. fVe held a clearing sale of dairy Btook, „ on behalf of Messrs J. and W. Buckle, their farm near Okaiawa, on Monday, s 28th inst. The herd was a choice one, ring been bred by tbe vendors from ok purchased from their father and Mr Caverhill. The attendance was good, J 1 bidding brisk for all tbe stock, cows ming as Sigh as to £8 ; the average on i whole line being nearly JE6 per bead, tses made up to £13, and other things at equally well. )nr fortnightly sale was held in tbe kver Yards, Hawera, on Wednesday, tbe ;b inst. Tbe class of cattle that came ward was mostly fat and forward, and tTuVTs'tbe' kind chiefly in demandnow had a very good sale, and placed every c, witb the exception of one lot of cows, her at tbe hammer or immediately erwards.
