As many cows are afflicted with this complaint in spring I append the following remedy: — Separate all afflicted from tbe rest, or vonr herd will all get tbe complaint. Give 4 to 6oz. doses of Epson: salts twice every other day ; cover the teats with ointment made with almond oil, myrrh, and spermaceti; don't touch the teats with the band or you prolong to an indefinite period tbe cure, but use a tube ; use great oleanliuess and you will eradicate the disease in a tew days, but be sure to never break the pox so that it bleeds.— E.A.C.
