A South Australian wheat cargo has been sold at 27e 4£d. The chaff ex Opbir has not been sold, and it is expected that there will be a loss of £2 per ton on it. Merchants consider that it will never pay ship chaff to England, owing to the heavy freight.
Three months' bills are disco anted at 4£ per oent. A shipment of bay, per Britannia, realised £6 10a per ton.
