HOBABT, August 10. Tha announcement that the Govern« ment intend to abolish the Agency General in London and recall Sir C. M. Braddon bat caused considerable surprise, the Central opinion being it i§ a mistake. MELBOURNE, August 10. The Legislative Assembly passed the Income Tax by 44 to 88. Tbe Premier intimated that be would abolish tbe primage duty on ad vaUmm and fix the duty on goods.
