TVTOTICE is hereby given that it is 1M proposed to introduce, in the General Assembly of New Zealand, during its present Session, a Local Bill, for the constitution of a new County in the Taranaki Provincial District : comprising all that area bounded towards the South-west, "West, and North-west by the Ocean from the mouth of the Kapuni Stream, at the middle of the Stream, to the mouth of - the Hangatahua Stream, at the cemre of the Stream ; thence towards^ the North-east by the middle ofJroe latter Stream to its source, and Jraence by a straight line to the su»mit of Mount Egmont ; and thendD by a straight line running to the Mprth-western corner of Section N# 12, Block IV., Kaupokonui Survdjf District, and thence by a line runyng Southwards along the West* crn Boundaries of Sections 12. 14] and 17, of Block VI., Kaupokonui Survey District, to the Opunake Road j thence by a line across that Road, and along its South side, to j the Western Boundary of Section No. 2, BlockYJ*fKaTlpokonui Survey District ; tktfnce Southerly along the Western#Boundary of said Section No. 2 tg^outheaj^oundary of Block VI, Efeupokojpp/ Survey . Provides for the constitution of the Egmont County as above described. Section 3. Pro^esthat the portion of the "Waimate JRoatkDistrict included mthe area of the ©id Egmont County shall constitute m new Road District within the Egjgfont County aforesaid, and alltiMgj&ions of " The Road Boards JS^lSSj}," and of every other Act shall apply^n respect, of the foregoing New R<|id District as if it had been duly dgnstituted Ly the Hawera County* Council on petition, under Sectioafour of " The Road Boards Act, 188»" Section 4. Providjl that the remaindlr of the Wjfmate Road District sha^Lbedirf'med to be a Road District^wßßßeDOundaries have been altered by the formation of new districts under Sftction four of "Th 9 Road Boards Act, 1882," to which the provisions of Section 13 of the last-named Act shall be applicable with this exception only, that it shall be optional with the Hawera County Council to dissolve the Board of suck district, and not imperative, as pro^ vided in the said Section 13. A copy of the Bill has been deposited, and is open to public inspection at each of the following | places, namely : — The Resident Magistrates' Courts in the towns of Opunake and Manaia respectively.
