ANOTHER GREAT STRIKE.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) LONDON. April 7. All seamen, firemen, and watermen in Hull have joined strikers. The Union intends to extend the strike to Liverpool, Cardiff, Glasgow and London. Wilson, tbe shipowner, is under polioe protection. Later. Wilson and Sons are still despatching steamers from Hull, despite the opposition of unionists. The Pahiataa Murder Charge. — ♦ . CASE DISMISSED. (PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, April 8. Mr. Graham, 8.M., dismissed the oharge of murdering Jacobsen against Smith, on tbe gronnd tbat the evidence was not strong enough to send the case before a jury. In the larceny case no evidence was offered and tho prisoner was discharged.
