WELLINGTON, Marob 24. In response to a rtqaeßt from the Premier of South Australia, Mr. Seddon has forwarded full particulars of tbe oooperative system applied to publics works. The average number employed by the Government during the year on railways and roads under this plan was abou 1900.
OHBISTOHUROH, March 24. A bonße belonging to Mre Carr was burnt down last night, ana Bhe has been arrested on a charge of incendiarism. Mrs Heath, wife of a publican at New Brighton, died from injuries received in a buggy collision with a cart.
