Amount of acceptance 5 per cent, on first prize, less Is nomination. Acceptance on ground. Performances for laßt two years to be sent in with nominations. Three to start in all races or no second prize. Four to start or no third prize. All prizes will be paid on the ground. All protests (accompanied by 10s) must be in writing, and be in tbe hands of the Secretary ten minutes after the event. Deposit forfeited if protest not substantiated. Decision of committee to be final in all disputes that may arise. The committee retain a discretionary power in everything. Starter to have power to put back one yard for every false start after being duly warned, and to order off tbe field any competitor who perpjstently breaks this rule, or is insolent to him or any member of committee. All entrances and nominations to be forfeited by such competitor. Maori War Dance during the day. Nominations for handicaps to be in the hands of the secretary by 8 p.m. on Saturday, 10th December. Band in attendance. Sports commence at 11 a.m. Admission to ground — Adults, Is children under 12, free. A Concert, to be followed by a Dance, will be held in the Town Hall after the sports. E. C.
