The regulations being imperative that carcases imported whole and contain* ing lungs shonld be inspeoted for traces of pleuro-pneumonia, Mr. Weddell has suggested to tbe authorities that a Frenoh official should inspect the oarcases in Australia in order to avoid the difficulty. HONG KONG, November 4. Fifty junks have been burned atTchang and 200 lives lost.
