♦ 1 (FROM A CORRESPONDENT.) v The committee of tbe above society met 3 on September 12th. Present — Messrs. W. • Eowe, A.^lesser. T. Eobson, B. White, a W. Rodgers, J. Haywood, W. Matheson, b P. Inneß, T. Lloyd, C. Paine. W. Gwynne, t J. Forbes, and J. Best. In tbe absence of 1 the chairman, Mr. Howe was voted to the f cbair. Letter from Mr. A. Cox suggested f that prizes should be offered for tbe best • novelty at tbe show, as. new Japanese 1 tbibgß were coming forward every year, 1 some of tbem of great value. Left f for the subcommittee to deal with. t On the motion of Mr. Lloyd, Beoonded a by Mr. Messer, it was resolved, That a Messrs. Eowe, Paine, Innes, Eodgers.Best, > and White be a committee to revise prize 1 schedule. ; Eesolved, That each member of tbe t committee can vass for subscriptions (either 1 in money or kind) for speoial prizes.
