At a public meeting, at which addresses were given by leading residents and prominent Maori chiefs, a resolution was passed condemning the establishment of a licensing district in tbe King Country, and calling on the Premier to revoke the proclamation. AUCKLAND, June 23. The owners of the schooner Louie Lang, overdue here from Lytteiton, has wired to to the Minister of Marine to-day asking that the Hinemoa should be sent in search for the schooner.
