Board of Reviewers.
The Board sat on Wednesday, Messrs. G. McLean, J. Heslop, and P. G. Wilson i being tbe reviewers. Mr. McLean was i elected chairman. { W. L. Hirst's property at Waihi, leased < to Peat and Alexander, and occupied by a A. Alexander. Unimproved value, £8580 ; t improvements, £2720. Allocated— £l32o s to tbe owner and £800) te tbe lessees. s Mr. Hirst objeoted, contending that his 6 interest in the improvement was greater than was set down by the assessor!. t Messrs. Peat and Alexander objected | that their interest did not extend to £800. ] Both objections ware considered to,- i gether, ana the Board confirmed the total ' value, bat allocated improvements as follows— £2lßß to the owner, and £5r325 r 32 to tbe lessees. This was tbe only oase that there, wat any objection persisted in. Messrs, Greer t Bros, had lodged an objection in referenc e to! the assessment' of their interest in a leasehold, but withdrew on finding th ey bad misinterpreted tbe A,ct.
