We have received a copy of tbe Haweba Stab Almanack and West Coast Dieectoby, one of the neatest and (fullest compilations of the kind issued ia New Zealand, Ifc contains a large amount of information, and has evidently been compiled and printed with the utmost care. It has a very complete directory of the West Coast, which haß been carefully corrected, and there ia also a good deal of ÜBef ul inf ormation, which will make the book invaluable. (Wellington Evening Press.) The Hawera Star Almanac and West Coast (North Island) Directory ia to hand, and, aa usual, it ia one of the best publications oi the kind in the colony, containing an immense amount of most useful information, including gardening, sporting records, statistics, etc. (Taranaki News.) One of the handiest publications we receive is the Hawera Star Almanao and Directory. The Almanao this year is more complete than it has ever before been, which ia saying a great deal, and we predict for it a vory extensive circulation. It contains much valuable information—statistical and otherwise— and as a local book of reference is very accurate. The Almanac is printed excellently, and iv this respect, as well as generally, it reflects great credit on the Star Office. (Wanganui Herald.) We are now in receipt of copy of the Star Almanack and West Coast Directory for 1892, the Directory including Wanganui, Palmeraton North, Feilding, Marton, Hawera, and New Plymouth. The volume is a bulky one of about 350 pages, and the information therein contained is not only varied and good, but accurate and essent/ally useful. We note that in the calendar for the months is given the mean time of high water at Wanganui and Waitara; and, besides a diary, there is also a garden calendar, sporting records, educational and statistical information, census returns, fishing and Bhooting regulations, farm notes, and a New Zealand itinerary. The Almanack, is excellentJy compiled, and reflects most creditably on Messrs. Innes and Go., of Hawera, from whose printing office it ia issued. (Marton Mercury.) We have received the Stpr Almanack and West Coast Direotory, printed and published by Messrs. Innes and Op., Hawera. It is a most usef nl production, and contains amongst other features, directories of Marton, Feilding, anc ralmerston. : The book consists of 351 pages and is exceptionally well printed and got up, (Manawatu>JSjfcand*ard.) rh ja best book Atmanac published on ■bis Ooaat is undo'ub'telly that of Messrs Innea and Co., of Haw&ra, the Star Almanac. Besides b'eitfg a compendium ot useful and interesting information, there is a capital directory of the towns along the Coast. The printing is excellently done, and the volume is worth a place in any office.
