Treliair-Osborne Concert Coy.
Tbe above party of vocalists and in* stramentalists have arranged to give two concerts at the Town Hall on the 28th and 29th inst. Manaia will be be visited on the 80th. Miss Trehair-Osborne is a vocalist who has appeared at nearly every centre of the United Kingdom, and, some years back, her health giving way owing owing to the severe task she had under* taken in, fulfilling her many engagements, tLe lady made what was intended should be a trip to New Zealand ; bnt the climate of Maoriland has agreed so well with her that she has resided in Wellington eves since. When Mr. Santley, tbe celebrated baritone singer, made his trip to New Zealand, he engaged Miss Osborne for his colonial tour. That lady, having been previously engaged to sing at tbe Dnnedin Exhibition, was only able to accompany Mr. Santley, to Dunedin, Christobnrob, and Wellington. Miss Osborne has a very rich and powerful contralto voice, and, like all true artistes, sbe sings Engliabi Irish, Scotch, or Italian mnsio with equal facility. Mi'bb Maggie John* son, soprano; < Miss Nellie Parsons, oon* tralto ; Mr. Nairn, tenor, reoently from Glasgow ; Mr. J. W. EHner, bass, have all achieved good standing in tbe mosical world ; and Mr. Frank King, the violinist, and Miss Gardner, pianist, have mada names for themselves at their respective instruments. Oar readers will gather from the foregoing that the company is efficient. '
