Mr. Dillon, M.P., speaking at Killarney, has declared that it was a monstrous thing that the Pope should interfere in politics, and advised the Nationalists to continue the plan of campaign, substituting a system of combined boycotting for outrage. The Times, in an artiole on the Chinese difficulty in Australia, says the colonies most abandon recrimination, and act unitedly to secure the exclusion of Chinese. The French eastern squadron has been ordered to rendezvous at Yokohama, and thence proceed to sea under sealed orders. The action has caused much surprise. PARIS, May 7. Two million and a half copies of the first edition of Boulanger's book have been distributed. The work suggests that war may be necessary to avenge the injuries and redeem the honor of France.
