ENGLISH MARKETS.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, March 15. 15,000 quarters of wheat, by steamers of March and April shipments,to be delivered at Mediterranean ports, have been sold at 345. The bank rate of discount is two per cent. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show that the reserve in gold and bullion ia being a decrease of £2,540,000 on last ' week. The proportion of tbe reserve to the \\abi\\t\es is 44 per cent.
The quantity of wheat afloat for the "United Kingdom is 1,920,000 qaxters, and for the Continent 200,000 quarters. Consols, 101f.
