Auckland, November 25. Horses — The market last Friday at the Dvwham yards continued steady. An , average number came forward, and most \ of the lots found purchasers. We quote i hacks from |,£4 103 to i>l4; light harness , horses, .£5 10s to «£l2 10s ; draughts, from \ JglO 5s to £15 10s. Wool, Hides, and Skins — The quantity brought forward on Tuesday at the Durham yards was not large, but the demand was good. We quote ox hides from 3£d to 4Jd ; cow hides, 3£d to 3|d ; calf skins, 4Jd j to 5d per lb ; sheep skins, 3s to 5s j pelts, ! 5d to 9d. I Fat Cattle. — About an average number was brought forward at the Newmarket yards on Tuesday, the prices remaining at last week's quotations — from 16s to 18s per lOOlbs. Fat Sheep. — Fat sheep were penned in small numbers, and competition was brisk throughout. We quote fat wethers, shorn, at from 8s to 12s 9d ; fat ewes, shorn, 7s 6d to 9s 9d. Lambs were in moderate supply, and sold fveely at from fis 3d bo lls d<L [ Pigs. — Very few were yarded, and they sold well, particularly those of a good quality.
