PARIS. November 23. M. Grevy has resolved to resign tbe Presidency, but will himself first form a Cabinet, which will summon the Legislature to elect a successor to him, before retiring. He will issue an address to the country denying that he is responsible in any way for Home and Foreign entanglements, which he forsees and declaring that , Ms resignation is not a Molvmtatjj one, but is simply due to it bein# impossible for him to continue to govern the country. MELBOURNE," November 25. In the Legislative Assembly this afternoon, Mr. Dobson gave notice that tomorr.ow he will ask the Government if they will take steps to procure a joint address to tbe Queen from the two Houses of Legislature protesting against granting any individual colony the name of " Australia.
