Goldsborough and Co., Limited, had a crowded attendance of buyers, and the various lots elicited excellent competition, especially light-conditioned wools, good quality greasy, superior lambs'. The wool catalogue comprised 3600 bales, bt which 2800 were sold. Superior greasy merino brought as much as lljd per lb ; good ditto, lOd ; and average quality ditto, 8d; superior lambs' wool realised 12fd; good crossbreds, 9Jd; and scoured wooli up to 16 \d.
