The handicap weight of the winner of the A.J.C. or V.R.C. Derby of 1887 to be not less than 7st 51b., and the winner of any handicap race of the value of 100 soys. after the declaration of the weights, to carry 31b. extra ; of 200 soys,, 51b. extra ; of 300 soys., 71b. extra ; of 500 soys. or upwards, 101b. extra.
