Linton, of South wark, an authority on hops, estimates the yield at 6£ cwts per acre, amounting iv tbe aggregate to 400,000 cwt. There is a disposition to transfer to Melbourne the Irish Court at tho Manchester Jubilee Exhibition with additional manufactures, if allowed, at a seperate court. The taxes on food are unworthy a colony claiming to be the most free and enlightened in the Australasion colonies.
