.TOHNSONVILLE, August 10. Messrs. P. R. Jackson and Co. report : — The beef entered to-day were of prime quality. Ox beef made 17s, and cow beef almost 14s 6d per lOOlbs. Sheep were of medium quality, and maintained la9t sale prices. Our quotations are: One line of bullocks brought from J67 10s to £Q 2s 6d, averaging £8. Another lot averaged £7 15s, ranging from £7 5s to £8 7s 6d. A line of 14 head brought from £6 I7s6dto £8, averaging £7 Bs. Cows brought from £4 2s 6d to £4 15s, average £i 10s. Sheep : Wethers, 11s 6d to 13s 9d ; ewes 9s 3d to 11s 9d ; old and inferior ewes, 7s 6d.
