♦ (beuter's telegrams.) SYDNEY, July 5. There was a dense fog in the harbor last night, and two steamers went ashore near Bradley's Head, but have since been floated off, neither suffering serious injury. The evidence which has been taken at the inquest re the Hawkesbury railway accident tends to show that the same was due to the stoppage of the air passage in the brake. The Government's proposal regarding the celebration of the centennary has been approved by Parliament. BRISBANE, July 5. All efforts to float the Eteamer Wentworth, which went ashore near Bowen on the 17th ult., have failed.
