Hawera Rifle Volunteers.
Class-firing was continued on Monday aud Tuesday. The following passed the third class :—: —
On Monday afteinoon, three men fired in tbe second class, but tailed to pass. On Tuesday, ten fired, the highest score being 35— five points below the number required to pass ; in the afternoou, five fired, when Captain Trimble made the requisite 40, and passed into the first class.
