London, May 25. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated London, 21th May :— Wool — The Australian clip is inferior. Trade in the Manufacturing districts is dull. The prospects of the domestic clip are good. Tallow — Market quiet. Good mutton is worth 21s 6d, and good beef 20s 3d per cwt. Frozen meat — Market depressed, and stocks are in excess of trade requirements. Canterbury mutton is worth 4£d, Canterbury lamb s|d, and Auckland lamb 4Jd per pound.
