MELBOURNE, February 16. Trotter, acting British Consul in Tonga, is now on a visit to Australia. In an interview yesterday with the Premier he declared that British residents in Tonga regard the situation with much anxiety, and. he urged that the Imperial Government be asked to intervene, with a view to the settlement of affairs.
