Removal of Permanent Militia from Opunake.

OPUNAKE, January 25.

The Stella is leaving with thirty- three members of the Permanent Militia, under Major Gascoigne, who are transfered to Wellington. The steamer brought from Kawhia six members of the force, which will now leave the strength of Opunake at about 3G. Major Tuke and the remainder of the force will not be transferred to this camp lor a month, when the Land Court will have completed its sittings there.
