FRANCE AND GERMANY.
WAR SAID TO BE IMMINENT. (retjter.) LONDON, January 24. The Daily News publishes a statement to the effect that the Imperial Government has apprehensions that war between France and Germany is imminent, and it is reported that Germany will shortly demand from France an explanation of her conduct in massing troops on the frontier.
