Monday morning, but, owing to most of it being over-ripe and in bad order, low prices were realised. Cherries, 5s to 7s Gd ; plums, 10s sd ; currants, 6s to 9s 6d ; pear?, 5s 6d to 6s ; dessert apples, 6s 6d per half ' case. , Cattle. — At Inglewood on Tuesday there was a -good muster of stock and a fair attendance. Calves made 19s to 255; yearlings, 31s to 355 ; 18-month s steers, 30sto 40s ; 24-year steers, J63 to £3 2s 6d ; heifers, £2 5s to £2 15s. ' At Waitara on Thursday a fair number of cattle were yarded, but the attendance was small, with little competition. Nearly everything, however, was sold either at the hammer or afterwards, only a small pen of cows being driven home. Calves made 255 ; yearlings, 28s to 31s 6d ; 2-year steers, £2 7s6dtoJE2 15s. On Wednesday I held a clearing out sale , of household furniture for Mr.|Tyer,|when fair prices were realised.
