THE MARIONETTES.

There was a better bouse at the Marionettes last evening, and the performance went off capitally, all present, testifying their appreciation of the: merits of the show by .frequent and hearty applause. We gave a pretty full description of the programme yesterday, and as the performance was the same last evening, it is not* necessary to say anything more in the way of general description. But we ought to -mention - that Mr. Foster's selections, on the piano were very appropriate to the .different acts and scenes, -and that his playing was tboronghly artistic. The mechanical arrangements were all perf-ecfc, and everything worked very smoothly. Tbi9 evening there is to be an entire change of programme, and moreover as this is the last appearance of tbe company, prices are to be reduced. It is a pleas* ant and cheap entertainment, and there should be a very large attendance to* night.
