GRASS SEEDS.

Christchurch. Eyegrass. — Deliveries have been on a more liberal scale, yet no large quantity has been brought forward. The demand for autumn sowing is feeble in the extreme ; only well-dressed samples are saleable for this purpose, and they command 3s 9d to 4s ; but the bulk of farmers' deliveries, being very foul, are not saleable at over 2"s 9d to 3s 3d. Cocksfoot. — This crop, which promised to be so prolific, is considerably curtailed by reason of much being destroyed in stook. There is nevertheless a sufficient supply available to afford a large surplus for export. Deliveries are now assuming important dimensions, and shipments to England are being conducted on a liberal scale. Prices are firm at 3-4! to 4d, f.0.b., Lyttelton, according to quality and size of parcel.
