GUN ACCIDENT.

CHBISTCHUKCH, April 3. A boy named William Moreland, aged 12, son of a farmer at Middleton, was out shooting with five others, at the Waimakairiri, when the gun accidentally discharged and the contents lodged in his right hand thigh. He will probably loose his thumb and some fingers, but it is hoped the accident will nob prove fatal.
