DUNEDIN, April.2. The trial of Dr. Parry for manslaughter of a woman in childbirth will be taken to-day. DUNEDIN, April 3. In the manslaughter case against Dr. Parry, of Kaitangata, Messrs. Stout and Stewart defended. Mr. Haggitt, in openiug the case, said if ordinary care had been exercised by prisoner the acci- j dent could not possibly have happened. , He attributed prisoner's incompetence to the state he was then in. '
